WATER PLANT OPERATOR 1

Pay range is  $19.00-$21.00/hour, depending on experience.   The benefit package includes NDPERS Sanford Health Insurance family or single policy fully paid, NDPERS Retirement fully paid, 11 paid holidays, vacation leave, sick leave, and more.

The City of Rugby is accepting applications for two Water Plant Operator 1.  Preference will be given to those with a North Dakota Class 1A Water Plant Operator Certification; if no applicants have the certification, the applicants chosen will have 1 year from date of employment to obtain certification. A valid North Dakota driver’s license and clean driving record is required, CDL is preferred.

GROUNDSKEEPER/LABORER

The City of Rugby Street Department is seeking seasonal groundskeepers and laborers to maintain repair public property. Duties include, but are not limited to, cutting and trimming lawns; pruning trees and shrubs; cleaning up and removing litter; planting and watering trees; painting and repairing fences, gates, walls and walks; cleaning out drainage ditches, culverts and alleys; sharpening tools and making minor repairs on equipment; and painting street markings and crosswalks. Applicants must be 18 years of age and must be able to lift 40-60lbs. Current valid driver’s license is mandatory.  Applications will be accepted through until the position is filled; Wage DOE.
